Very delicious food! Hot women! and a historical connection with the Roman Empire I heard through Istanbul I believe which is a city with very beautiful architecture and development from what I've seen in the media and online.
I also heard that they are a genetic/ancestral mixture of European+MiddleEastern w/ some residual Mongol DNA in there too.
Other than that I don't really know them all too well tbh.
