What kind of a name is Smap?

& what's an Ikemen? Man Crush?

I like more manly or not too feminine guys, I approve of McDreamy's choice of Toshiro Mifune, I think I find the Japanese guys who look more Caucasoid or Filipino attractive. & I like a more silent type or serious about their craft vibe like Al Pacino or Clint Eastwood or Michael Fassbender.
@McDreamyMD; I never knew a Filipino who had man crushes, I always hear it from Western guys (maybe other Asians, IDK) but never from a Filipino, lol!

I personally like James Shigeta, very old school, loved him in Bridge to the Sun, he was a rare thing back in the day. He was built up to be a leading man & he played opposite WASP young women, and I love LOVE his very deep resonating voice!

^^^Bridge to the Sun is based on an autobiographical novel of a white American woman who married & went to Japan with her husband during WW2.

Shigeta also remind me of Luis Gonzales, except Gonzales usually played the playboy or charmer type as opposed to Shigeta's more silent demeanor.

I also watched Goemon and Takao Osawa's character caught my attention, I found him handsome and not very small built unlike some Japanese male celebrities, more old school like Mifune. I watched a few of his other films, prefer him playing serious or badass roles instead of the comic slapstick over acting roles you see in many Asian films. Also, he looks better with longer hair.
