All of these fires could have been set by Ukrainians, as suggested by the article linked to below, which also contains the image above. But it is also possible that at least some of these could have been started by Russians who are very unhappy with what has happened since February 24.

...
Anonymous, a hacker group made up of international activists, posted a map detailing 23 previous 'special combustion operations' within Russia which are seemingly related to the Ukrainian war, making 25 in total, though MailOnline is not able to independently verify such claims.

Possibility of Martial Law in Russia

The photo was posted in the article linked to below (Image credit: Getty). According to the article, "Russian President Vladimir Putin is 'very worried' about growing unrest in Russia, amid rumours of martial law being imposed in the country. Earlier this week, the Kremlin was forced to deny US intelligence claims that President Putin would place the country under strict martial law. William Taylor, the former US ambassador to Ukraine, told CNN that there is 'real discontent' spreading across the country."

"the Kremlin has sent in a general to clamp down on dissent" Among Russian Soldiers

Above is a photo of Rustam Muradov, a "... lieutenant general ... the deputy commander of Russia's Southern Military District, known for overseeing brutal fighting in the Syrian civil war." According to an intercepted phone call made by a Russian soldier, a general named "Muradov" has been brought in to restore order among Russian troops in Ukraine; "It is understood he is talking about ... Rustam Muradov" The image and the quotations were all posted within the Daily Mail article linked to below.

From the intercepted phone call:

...
'Well, Muradov arrived and arranged a demonstrative tribunal,' the soldier said, adding that he disciplined his unit because 'no one wanted to keep going ahead'.

'The commanders didn't want to lead their boys to death, the soldier said. 'The guys themselves just weren't ready.

'So yesterday [Muradov] busted the f**k out of the commanders to make an example, he undressed them, made them pull everything out of their pockets, tied their hands. Then they loaded them into [buses] and took them away,' he added.
...

In an article in the Express, a captured Russian soldier says that he knows of two cases where soldiers committed suicide to escape the war. He also said that others want to be sent back home due to self-inflicted wounds.

Former Chinese Ambassador to Ukraine Says Russia Has Already Lost the War"

Above is a photo of "Former Chinese ambassador ... Gao Yusheng", "who served in Ukraine from 2005 to 2007". The image and the quotations were posted in an article at aze.media.

... Yusheng ... said recently at a forum that Russia 'has already lost the Russia-Ukraine War.' His analysis of the cause and trend of the war is completely different from the Chinese communist regime’s pro-Russia rhetoric.

In the speech, he also predicted that Russia would be expelled from important international organizations, and that there would be a new wave of 'de-Russification' in the former Soviet Union countries.

The lives of Russian troops are cheap. Most of them dont even have night vision gear which cost at least 10k dollars to be produced.

10k dollars > a Russian soldier

Why Russia loses in Ukraine

For a small gain of tetorrities, Putin has exposed Russia as a declining power. What is the true image of Russia as a military power?

1) Lack of training & combat experience

2) Lack of morale

3) Lack of logistics, maintenance & corruption

4) Military structure problem, failed blitzkrieg & human wave tactics

(bureaucratic command structure not allowing quick decisions to be made by people on the ground, expecting Ukrainian military to surrender after a week of the invasion, doubling down on sending more troops and tanks through an easily ambushed area or a military chokepoint, favourtism to FSB downgrading the coordination between different branches of the military)

5) Being an advertiser for Turkish drones and NATO weapons

(Russia suffering high losses of tanks & military vehicles due to Turkish drones and NATO weapons being used in Ukraine's forest & urban areas)

6) Lack of soft power & being inferior to US in information warfare

(being condemned by various medias and having the military communications and plannings exposed by US intelligence to the world or leaked to the Ukrainian military)

7) Deficiencies in military technology & lack of high tech equipments

(consumer-grade GPS devices in SU-34, drones being equipped with civilian cameras, resorting to using crude artilery and dumb bombs as the war drags on, majority of soldiers not having night vision gear, etc...)

8) Losing economic progress

(NATO countries bringing down the Russian economy to the level of Soviet era)

T-62 Tanks Now Being Deployed to Ukraine

"T-62 at the Russian Museum of Military History" The photo and its caption were posted within the article linked to below.

This tank was produced from 1961-75, and until now has been held in storage. "Russia's armed forces have begun deploying (these) tanks to the southeastern regions of Ukraine, raising questions over the extent of Putin's losses". "Designed in the late 1950s, the T-62 had already grown obsolete by the mid-70s and was relegated to reserve duty in favour of the improved T-64 and T-72 models." "... of the 10,000 tanks (of various types) waiting in storage, many of them are likely to be inoperable due to Russia's harsh and varied climate and poor long-term maintenance."

The quotations above appear at various points in the article.
