why is your name ''black lives matter'' but your posting asians getting attacked?
@j-r-c
Black lives matter is against the systemic racism that is giving people of color a major disadvantage in society.
Attacks on Asians are individual matters.
@j-r-c
Black on Asian crime is no less than 200 cases in California.
Systemic racism affects 41.4 million blacks and 52 million Hispanics in America.
do you get it?
@naval If you really believe in the cause, then you need to be consistent. If you really cared about black lives then you will care about their image being portrayed in the T.V
@j-r-c
You changing the topic because you know I am right. In order for their image to improve around the world, first, systemic racism has to change.
racism or police bias will stop if people don't destroy government properties. Shouldn't BLM be protesting in the city hall or some government buildings?
blocking the highways isn't helping. it will ruin the BLM cause.
Usually a man would just try to walk away but since his girlfriend is on his side that's why he had to fight. it's our genetics to protect our loves ones.
what do you think about mr black lives matter
@j-r-c
it's not confusing. I live in New Jersey so it's easier for me to understand, you guys live outside the U.S.
There are a lot of things happening here that you don't see in the media.
like what? there are social media now that can be used to show what the media isn't willing to broadcast.
@j-r-c
police brutality, police racial profiling, stop and frisk. so much police on minorities community, while there are not much police in the drug infested college white parties.
Do you mean rave parties? I think the police are cracking down on fentanyl drug users.
The ethnic neighborhoods in the east coast aren't that far off from another.
without police presence east coast will start to look like this, just like in the crack era.
have you seen experience racial profiling? racism? or institutional racism? I don't think so.
When I was in New York, my classmate had a similar conversation. My classmates were from Brooklyn and the Bronx. Some of my classmates were ex-prisoners from Rikers Island.
The school that I went to was a program made by the government so that lower-class New Yorkers can have middle-class income.
That is not ''institutional racism''. If there was institutional racism then you protestors will have no problem identifying it directly.
it's the same systemic racism like ''stand your ground laws' in Florida.
systemic racism= more cops in black & Latino neighborhoods than white neighborhoods.
systemic racism= putting more
tech school is very few compared to the entire systemic system.
Point taken. Florida is not New York, New Jersey or California. The same goes for the policing policy. I don't think it's racism. it's just a flawed law for everyone. The Trayvon case is tricky because Trayvon isn't alive to testify
You don't need to live in New York and New Jersey to understand that it's the most liberal city on the planet.
@j-r-c
There is so much grant money, back to school programs, free training to get a job.
I have visited New York & New Jersey before, it's really huge. New York City is the most diverse city on the planet. It has the most liberal people on the planet that I know of. There are black leadership, blacks in an authority figure. it's also a safe haven for immigrants that southern Americans don't want.
I don't see the Systemic Racism that you guys are talking about. There was a Jewish mayor and a black mayor.
@j-r-c
having a black mayor and black president doesn't mean anything if they will not raise awareness towards institutional racism.
You mean to tell me that the black mayor and Barack Obama didn't raise awareness about institutional racism.
They have all the power to teach and raise awareness.
seriously, man, you need to give a real reason to be taken seriously.
How come Barack Obama didn't raise awareness about institutional racism.
@j-r-c
His wife is more vocal about racism and institutional racism.

She did bring it up to the public but even the president of the United States has limited power to change laws in different states.
@j-r-c
did you even read the page?
She continued, "It starts with self-examination and listening to those whose lives are different from our own. It ends with justice, compassion, and empathy that manifests in our lives and on our streets."
