Koreans will accept her because she looks mostly Korean but will look down on her parents' union once they find out one is Filipino.

Koreans also do this with Southeast asians that initially look Chinese, Japanese, or Korean just with looks; they will treat them differently once they find out they are from an ASEAN country. These "Chinito" southeast asians will still be treated better than pure Southeast asian or Negrito looking people though, Koreans are generally vain and xenophobic.

I think that people of mixed race who have both cultures at the same time are more thoughtful and cool people with big bowls. Because Korea is not used to multiculturalism and multiracial society and there is almost no education, some people of mixed race get hurt a lot. It was heartbreaking and frustrating. It really makes me feel good to hear that you beat up teasing children. It's so wonderful to see you have great pride in yourself.

So how you are treated  in east asia is not based on your race but how attractive you are

Pretty privilege is everywhere, but Korea has another layer of lookism where East asian looking people are treated better than non-east asian looking people (except white people coz of white privilege)
