Wait no some correction. The Luo and Luhya ranged from being ,literally 0% to 2.5% Caucasoid. And they rarely exceed 3% Caucasoid/West Eurasian. So actually Filipinos might be a bit more Caucasoid than them since Pinoys can range from 1-5% West Eurasian/Caucasoid.

And Filipinos might be comparable to Ugandans and some other Bantus from Lake Victoria area of Kenya and Tanzania in terms of Caucasoid as they also got zero to very negligible West Eurasian.

Guessing people's phenotypes was always difficult and challenging especially when they are mixed. Instead of seeing his/her varied ethnic background, some times we end up only seeing one racial background because the person's dominant appearance such as color and facial features ends up overshadowing their other mixed background. These types of people such as Kazaks do appear nearly homogenous and it's difficult to discern if they have more than one racial background.  We normally conclude that the person is pure when in fact that person is mixed.

On the contrary however, some Filipinos who appear phenotypically mixed are nearly homogenously pure even though they appear to have some Caucasoid/ South Indian features.  Phenotype some times doesn't equate with Genotype.

I'd like to see more testing among Filipinos in Philippines before making any conclusion. There are probably only a few hundred to a few thousand Filipinos that have actually taken a Genetic test? The small amount of sample test results would not reflect the national average. The population is 110 million today and therefore even a million Filipinos genetically tested doesn't even amount to 1%.   If 10% = 11 million Filipinos were actually genetically tested then we could certainly consider the results more credible however it would be difficult and expensive to do today.  Maybe 30 plus million Filipinos genetically tested would be convincing enough.

Also, genetic testing results are some times ambiguous.  The results would say Luzon in Philippines but the test were mainly done in Manila which doesn't reflect the whole island of Luzon.  Plus, original inhabitants in Manila are fewer today than before.  Since 1950's people throughout the Philippines have been migrating to Manila.  I could be at a bus station terminal and hear a variety of dialects being spoken suggesting that they are from different provinces/ regions of the country.  Luzonians have interbred with other groups also.

Kalenjin tribe of Kenya and the Maasai tribe of Kenya and Tanzania are actually some of the first-rate runners in the world and they have 10-20% Caucasoid genes.  Maybe their admixture with Caucasoid may have something to do with their running?  Ethiopians have up to 40% Caucasoid genes and they are also considered one of the first-rate runners in the world.  There are several factors as to what makes a top-notch runner and genes is only one of them. There are top African runners that have low Caucasoid genes.  Marathons are full of runners from across the globe but the top-notch runners are from East Africa.

Top sprinters are from Jamaica and they are West African descent which has considerably less Caucasoid admixture.
