It's simply an indigenous trait maybe linked to some kind of convergent evolution or related to the Upper paleolithic populations of North Africa.

You're welcome and they are simply people from the maghreb even though this trait tend to be found mostly among berber speakers (at least based on my experience)

I was told that north Africans can look like us. I am still researching.
