Yeah, people will always eat and always need medicine. Another good investment would be electrical and transportation companies.

Right, and now plant-based food is huge across the globe.  It's estimated that it could be a new norm by 2030, with the UK leading the way.  Stock from plant-based meats such as Beyond Meat kept surging eversince its IPO were offered.  Look into it, it could beef up your portfolio.  I'm keeping an eye on Impossible Burger.

Although there could be a lot of competition depending on where you reside.

How about 401(k)?  Does your employer offer it?

Suppose you start cultivating marijuana thus making you a business owner.  As such you would then be able to create a 401(k) for yourself.  In this case it's called Solo 401(k).

I've been getting between 5 to 8 percent interest gained from 401(k) which isn't too shabby at all.
