Man stabbed to death after trying to stop knife fight at 7-Eleven in Koreatown, Los Angeles

  • A man was stabbed to death after he attempted to break up a fight at a 7-Eleven in Koreatown.
  • The three men involved in the knife fight have all been arrested.

A man was killed trying to stop a knife fight that occurred at a 7-Eleven in Koreatown, Los Angeles.

The man witnessed a dispute leading to the knife fight and died after one of the suspects reportedly stabbed him when he attempted to break it up. His female companion, who suffered from non-life-threatening injuries, was brought to the hospital.

The Olympic patrol officers responded to a call at around 2 a.m. of Jan. 15 at 6th Street and Alexandria in Koreatown. While the suspects had fled the scene, LA Fire Department paramedics transported the victims to a local hospital, where the male victim died from his stab wound.

“Officers arrived and found the victim stabbed,” the Los Angeles Police Department said in a statement. “A dispute occurred, resulting in a fight. The victim tried to break up a fight when an unidentified male Hispanic, dark clothing, stabbed the victim. After the stabbing, two additional suspects hit and kicked the victim’s companion causing injury.”

The Olympic Officers and West Bureau Homicide served a search warrant on Saturday, which led to the arrest of the two men who beat the female victim. Suspects Josue Alegria and Damian Dehorney were booked for attempted murder.

On Jan. 16, the suspect accused of the stabbing death surrendered himself to the West Bureau Homicide. Jose Garibay was booked on suspicion of murder and is held on $2 million bail.

Asian Woman Carjacked and Sexually Assaulted in Minneapolis

January 23, 2022

MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota—A single mother in Minneapolis was carjacked, kidnapped, and sexually assaulted on Friday morning, January 14, near 3rd and Franklin avenues, just south of downtown.

The Asian mother, first name Kat, reached out to Asian Dawn to help tell her story.

Kat was just getting gas to start her workday as an Instacart driver. That’s when an African-American man wearing a ski mask approached her with a gun drawn.

“[He] held me at gunpoint and … made me sit on the passenger side of the car,” she stated to WCCO4. “He then proceeded to put his gun on my back the entire time that I was in the car so I couldn’t leave.”

After a few minutes of driving, the suspect stopped the car and forced her into sexual acts after taking her credit cards.

“I was crying and I was begging him not to do this,” she said.

The victim, Kat.

However, Kat noticed the car doors were unlocked and decided to take a chance and jumped out of the car. She ran until she reached a house and asked for help, according to her GoFundMe page.

Police later found Kat’s abandoned car and the suspect, 37-year-old Carl Williams later that day, reports WCCO4.

According to police officers, Williams was actually back at the same gas station wearing the same ski mask and tried carjacking more people. His gun turned out to be a BB gun.

Williams has been charged with kidnapping, criminal sexual conduct, and aggravated robbery — all felonies.

“I feel lucky to be alive because even though I’m still alive, it’s like my trauma does not end there,” Kat said. “This happened in the busiest gas station I know in front of everybody, and that’s extremely scary.”

Kat is now raising money to help move her family out of Minneapolis. Her GoFundMe page can be accessed by clicking HERE.

“The first thing I thought when he came to me with a gun was my son,” she said. “I’ve lived here for almost 10 years and it’s has not been this bad, and now I just fear for my life.”

Williams has a lengthy criminal history, including a felony conviction for making terroristic threats. He’s being held without bail because this most recent arrest violates probation from a previous conviction. If convicted, the kidnapping charge alone carries a 40-year maximum sentence.

Young Asian Woman Attacked in Vancouver

January 20, 2022

VANCOUVER, British ColumbiaBloomberg called Vancouver the “Anti-Asian Hate Crime Capital of North America” last year because more anti-Asian hate crimes were reported in Vancouver than the top 10 most populous U.S. cities combined; the Canadian city only has a population of 700,000 people.

Vancouver, San Francisco, New York, all pride themselves as being the most “progressive” and “morally superior” cities on earth because of their liberalism. These cities can add one more moniker, they’re also the “most racist” cities in North America as well because of their anti-Asian hate crimes.

Vancouver police released video footage of a man attacking a woman in a random and unprovoked assault on New Year’s Eve.

The savage attack occurred at around 3:30 p.m. on December 31, 2021, along West Georgia Street outside the Hotel Georgia, according to the Vancouver Sun.

The 17-second clip shows a man walking east along the sidewalk, suddenly stopping, and then going after an Asian woman walking in the opposite direction.

Authorities say the 22-year-old Asian woman was thrown against the exterior wall of the hotel and held down, but was able to escape her attacker’s hold.

Vancouver police began investigating the incident as soon as it was reported to authorities that day, she said. Police obtained the video from the hotel last week and released the footage Wednesday in the hopes that the public could help identify the man, reports the Vancouver Sun.
