Some parts of the city actually look like ghost towns. There are virtually no customers inside some stores and restaurants, there are hardly any cars on the parking lot and only a few cars on the road. Some places are so silent that I could actually hear a pin drop.
Several are unaware that they are infected because they haven't been tested or the testing sites are either unavailable or their appointments are filled up for the month and therefore the numbers of infected are actually higher than what's being reported. If they knew that they were infected, then they would have seek treatment at their local hospital. Unfortunately hospitals are filled up with patience and some facilities don't have enough medication to provide treatment. The vaccines will be available by the end of the year or beginning of next year. There are several countries producing vaccines and America and Brazil are among them and they will likely be the ones to distribute the vaccines to Latinos.
