So, the virus isn’t extra powerful, per se, than different viruses. But when it enters the human body, we have no pre-existing defenses since our bodies don’t right away understand it as a risky intruder. Imagine an old, walled medieval town. If this virus had been a disguised attacker arriving at the town’s shielding walls, but open gates, the guards would no longer without delay recognize to be suspicious. With this coronavirus, it’s as if the guardians of our cells have stored the gates open and let the coronavirus in besides right now recognizing its danger.
