I seen the video, the Chinese American reported felt alienated as if She was responsible for the Chinese government actions.

Her question wasn't stupid. What she was trying to say was, why can't the USA work with other countries to fight the virus. Instead, their is a competition between the USA & China which prolonged the vaccine. 

It was a very simple question.

I think the white girl reporter was trying to ask a question to support her, but Trump sensed the onslaught and shut her down. 😆

Actually this is something else that doesn't make it in the news. The US actually tried to block China from doing vaccine Phase III trial in other countries. 

There are over 100 teams researching vaccines, China has 5 of the 10 vaccines good enough to be doing human trials. But it cannot do phase 3 study without an infection spreading. 

The US approach with RNA (such as moderna) is fancy but risky, it has never made a successful vaccine with the technique.

Maybe the Canadians here can tell us about CansinoVac's phase 3 trial about to start in Canada.
