Polynesian
Indigenous people of South Americans
@rambo
If Indo-Pacific family was referring to linguistics then I consider Polynesians as a member of the Indo Pacific family which they are according to wikipedia.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indo-Pacific
If Indo-Pacific family was referring to genetics then I would include both Polynesians and indigenous people of South America as well as all indigenous people throughout the Americas as a member of the Indo-Pacific family even though several Native American Indians are also residing on the Atlantic Ocean side.
Plus, I would also include Micronesians, Papuans, Australian Aborigines, Melanesians.
@rambo
The Question is do indigenous people consider Filipinos are their relatives?
I would say no, most people in Latin America don't think about Filipinos in our daily lives. it's mostly Mexicans, Puerto Ricans, Dominicans, Cubans in the United States who actually has contact with Filipinos.
Outside from Pacquiao and Duterte cussing out Obama, In general we don't think about Filipinos.
