@prau123. I should try it sometime, I imagine I can only find this meat on subway.
Americans stuff their turkey like lechon no? I imagine that changes the bland taste.
I actually eat turkey sandwich at Subway and it's delicious.
When I'm in the Philippines I rarely ever see Subway. I know Filipinos eat bread but they don't eat sandwiches.
Americans do stuff their turkey like lechon and the thanksgiving dish no longer taste bland.
@prau123. Sandwhiches are seen as snacks, and subway ia somewhat expensive too. If Filipinos want to eat lunch or dinner, most crave for rice, noodles or pasta 2nd, bread is the last I think.
Several Filipinos have never tried a sandwich before let alone a Subway sandwich. Filipinos eat mainly rice or noodles however the young generation eat Italian pasta regularly. Filipinos eat a lot breads such as Pan de Sal, Spanish rolls, dinner rolls, etc., but there are Filipinos who do purchase the slice bread version that's usually found in grocery supermarkets. I would up wake early in the morning and go to an outdoor mini-mart, vendor, sari sari store to buy those fresh hot Pan de Sal and Spanish rolls before it was all gone. Fresh homemade breads are popular breakfast food items. In the afternoon and night, I would buy more Pan de Sal at the outdoor cafes and bread stores.
@prau123. By sandwich I mean pandesal with palaman included wc could be corned beef, lol. And theyre eaten for breakfast or friends, not considered a real meal for lunch or dinner.
