I've tried it before but it's popular among youngsters. Filipino mini-markets are full of corned beefs. The local cafe served a sandwhich with Palaman that had tuna, kesong puti cheese (carabao cheese), mayonnaise. The bread with butter is delicious also.
I usually eat pandesal with butter here in the states but in Philippines I eat pandesal by itself since it taste really delicious when it's fresh and hot from the oven.
Somehow Pandesal in the Philippines taste better than the Pandesal here in the states and also the Bibingkas in Philippines taste like the original brand unlike here. Some Bibingkas are being sold as Filipino Chiffons, Mamons and Sponge cakes and yet they are actually two different Filipino dishes.
Posted by: @nenabunena@kbella. Most Filipinos dont know that that holiday exists in the US and have never heard of the Mayflower nor know what Native Americans are. I'm familiar with them because I watch a lot of American films and shows.
- We celebrate New Year and Chrismas like Americans though, maybe more so even.
You guys celebrate Easter, right?
