In general though Asians from Asia don't have any view. They've never met any Latinos before.
In Philippines, women do watch Telenovelas soap operas. The words on the tv screen are dubbed in Tagalog as Mexican actors and actresses speak Spanish. On the other hand, Filipino men are avid watchers of the sport of boxing and a few are fans of some Mexican and Latino boxers. Filipinos prefer to watch and play basketball but soccer players such as Messi and Ronaldo are well known.
Bars, restaurants, nightclubs, stores, malls, public transportations such as buses, jeepneys, and taxis play reggaeton music time to time. The youngsters enjoy the music even though they usually don't understand what's being sung.
However vast majority of people in Philippines have never tried tacos, burritos and Latin American food in general other than empanadas, adobos, chicharron, and plus more that were imported during Spanish Era. I see a lot American food, Italian pastas and other Asian food.
Filipinos do connect with Latinos in general through Roman Catholicism, Holidays and Festivals, Spanish architecture and landscapes found on several houses, churches, schools, public buildings and plazas and the language Tagalog and Chavacano has a lot of loan words in Spanish. Several street names as well as surnames and first-names are Spanish. Pesos and centavos are our monetary unit in Philippines.
Some parts of Asia, such areas as Goa in India, East Timor-Leste, Macau, some more places have past connection with Portuguese people.

here is what Asians think of Latinos
1) Indians= Latinos are too foreign for us
2) Filipinos= Latinos will get along with us, we like them, they have a lot in common with us.
3) East Asians= Don't want black Latinos, mulatto, or do not want anything to do with Latinos outside business transaction.
3) Other South East Asians usually like Latinos with the exception of northern Vietnamese.
