What do Asians think about Latinos?

Detailed answers help me understand the mindset of the Filipinos but I would like to know how the other Asians view Latinos in generals. I think the Philippines and the Caribbean have a great opportunity with one another.

In general East Asians only mingle with their own people. They do mingle to some extent with SE Asians, Indians (India) and Caucasians however they are indifferent when it comes to everyone else though.  The younger generation do recognize really good Latin food such as tacos and burritos but they don't seem to mingle with the Latinos as much.  Some watch tv shows and movies that cast Latino actors/singers while several are fans of basketball and baseball which has a lot of African and Latino athletes.  The young Koreans listen to hip-hop music. They are into technology and therefore they tend to cling with people who have something in common with them. 

Latinos = Despacito

Latin music is definitely known in South East Asia like Shakira, Jennifer Lopez, Ricky Martin, Pitbull, Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee. The Macarena dance is still used in the dance hall.
