Our hospital only gave EVS surgical mask to transport Covid + patients. They also never required staff or patients and visitors to wear masks.  Furthermore, if we were exposed we were told to continue to work unless we have symptoms, just wear a mask.  There is no saying how they got infected because there are so many possibilities.

It's a cluster fock at my hospital. My co-worker tested positive and is super ill, he is receiving IV antibiotics and they cannot get his temperature down. His wife, daughter also tested positive and yet the hospital tried to hide it from us. They never notified us nor disinfect our work area. Our EVS personnel also just tested positive and is also super ill. They hid that from us too. That is such a big issue because he is responsible for cleaning the patients rooms and transporting patients. The HR lady that I met with in August, just died from Covid-19 two weeks ago, she had no underlying illnesses. My co-worker tried to get tested because she had flu symptoms, including loss of smell, but they refused to test her, saying she did not have a fever and did not meet the criteria. We aren't ready in case we have an emergency, we don't even have the right oxygen supply right now. I feel like I am risking my license and life

My God this is horrific and horror movie just waiting to happen. You are right, they are just using you guys as pawns & Sacrificial lambs.

We can't send anything to the Americans. the border patrol will take all the medical supplies.
