Post topics/discussions relevant to dating Filipino style/culture.
So I left the Phils when I was young and I wasn't old enough to understand love, dating, sex, etc. All what I know are basic and mostly what I see on the media, stereotypes, family experiences/stories. etc.
So I got a few questions:
Why do Filipina girls pretend they don't like you, and they wait for you/male to come to them? Why is it considered slutty for a woman to initiate contact?
Do Pinays expect you pay for dates?
Why do I see sometimes that a couple would have two weddings?
Do people still do the ligaw/akyat bahay? Is that too old school?
My cousin went on a date with a girl in her early twenties in the Phils recently, and for some reason supposedly he thought they were going with just the two of them. He's very formal/nice, by American standards. In fact, the girl brought her yaya with them! WTF, is this common? LOLs. She's 19-20 years old! Does that mean he looks suspicious or the girl just trying to 'dissuade' him/make excuse for him not to go on dates with him anymore?

Women want to protect themselves from being heart broken unlike us men who just wanna fuck and break hearts, women are more sensitive so they pretend they don't like you to gauge your character.
