My husband and I were friends.  I knew him since high school, but he was always the nice guy I went to for advice when some guy cheats on me or break my heart.  I never saw him as anything else beyond a friend until maybe 6-7 years later, after another failed relationship.  During those 6-7 years, he would give me advice and listen to my complaints, he was friend-zoned. 

@sailorneptune Did you friendzone him because at first you weren't attracted to him? Or was it because he was too nice?

@flower-girl I believe men are not that emotional as females. If men are emotional, they maybe gay or just flamboyant.

@ciccotelli I would understand. I don't want to date someone that would waste my time also. I need a beautiful mature female to handle me as I can handle her.
