Hey there OsricPearl. It's me Selurong. How's TA? I love your Username. The Pearl is part of the Holy Gate of the New Jerusalem. Where the 12 Pearly Gates have the names of 12 Apostles and New Jerusalem the Bride of Christ and the Militia of the Saints is there.

The Philippines is known as the Pearl of the Orient and is the Pearl Gate named after Apostle Philip and we earned it since we fought against our populous neighbors for Christ however I think it's exhausting being the only Pearl Gate now manifest on earth I think Cuba deserves to be a Pearl Gate too. Since she bravely fought alone for Communism in Capitalist dominated America.

America is Utopia as per British author Saint Thomas Moore's book called Utopia but Cuba is a romantic area by itself. Hopefully we can escalate the war between China and America and that will lead to world war and New nations will be formed or reformed and that the Pearl of Philip wouldn't be llonely anymore. Maybe Cuba can be the Pearl of the Occident and her gate be named after another apostle.

It's been a bit angry. I haven't been in a while after there was some snafu with some of the Portuguese members over a mask. I became angry with Loki. Although I do visit occasionally to observe the madness, I mostly stay away.

I wrote an appeal for you, but I don't think that Loki listened to me. I think it's hypocritical, as I have seen certain people get away with lying about their identity but nothing is done.

That's ok. Life is temporary anyway, thank you so much for petitioning me, I'm really grateful, anyway, what's important is the legacy we left. I actually, would like to thank the banning in hindsight since Tyrants like Loki don't deserve good members.

I think his Cocaine addiction messed up with his thinking process and it doesn't help that Novella broke with him. And I aks people ya think? Unless they're really tigh,t what would a beautiful teenage Novella find attractive in 50 year old Loki? Unless she only wants him due to his money, drugs or power. Not a healthy relationship. Loki is insane as can be proven by the threats he lays on people.

Do you live in Miami BTW near Cuba? I find Cuban history and culture really fascinating and it has character. Che Guevara, Castro, Kennedy and etc. has alot stuff to do with Cuba, Cuba is like the star of the Carribean, she's at the crux of the gulf of Mexico so the semicircle that surrounds her makes her the gathering point of transport to and from Europe, Africa and the Americas.

I want to visit Havana the Paris of the West Indies. The first Filipino Prime Minister of Spain Marcelo Palmero Azcaragga married a Cuban woman, Fesser.

I don't know. I just appealed because I wanted to give him another chance. I know it was almost crazy. Nah, I don't want to send him a message. I was not banned, but I don't want anything to do with him. I'm sad that she broke up with him, but I didn't know she was a teenager. The things you learn. 😆

I don't live in Miami anymore (thank goodness). I actually don't have much interest in Cuba. (?) My family helped build the country, and then the people betrayed us. They destroyed or stole the things we had, even a piddly acre of land. That's my view, at least, which is why I never pay it any mind. Let Cuba sink or swim, I'm an American now.

🤠

Maybe your family were slave owning sugar barons who got their land sequestered by the Commie government? Cuba was famous for her sugar. Hey I'm jus being real. My parent once tried to force me to eventually marry an heiress of a sugar estate. They treat their employees well though unlike most of their other peers, but during the Marcos era their company was briefly sequestered by the state too.

Most of her family's "peers", i.e. sugar baron fellows, were stuck up Creoles or Mestizos mostly descendants of Carlists who fled Spain. Treated the natives like trash and where white supremacists too. But a lot aren't too. My mentor in first year of college was from the same provincial stronghold as these sugar barons and his mother was from Argentina and had Red hairs. However, currently, the guard who sentries our Condo right now came from a family enslaved by Sugar Barons.

I'd like to know both sides of the story.

Although I don't doubt your story at all since I known you as the kindest and most principled Cuban-American I have met.

Thanks, I may have some Sugar Barons in my ancestry, because I have colonial ancestry on my mother's mother's side (that is the side that also gifted me with the small West African and Native).

Father's side:

But most of that Spanish ancestry comes from the waves of migration that occurred in the late 19th and early 20th century. All of them settled in Havana and became part of the administrative class. One of my spiritual ancestors (father of my father's step-mother) financed (with a partner), and built one of the Electrical plants.  He even mapped where the lines would go personally, "Riding on a horse, with a gun on his side." It was dangerous work.

None of them got into sugar farming.

Mother's side:

The one acre was taken from my grandfather, who owned a general store in the small town of Placetas.

His parents were also new arrivals, either born from emigrants or immigrants themselves, and both of them were Mandigos.  Mandingos fought in the Cuban war of Independence (which became part of the Spanish American War).

Mother's mother's side:

I have another ancestor on my mother's side who also fought in that war.

So as you can see, my family help build the Cuba that was, by fighting for its independence, making business, building its infrastructure, or helping with its administration. And what did we get in return? Everything was taken away. The one who literally built the electric plant had to be dragged out by family members as the communists were at the door. He died a broken man.

Cuba can go to hell.

I don't know anything about Loki's girlfriend or former girlfriend. I know little about him outside of him having Boer ancestry and living in the UK.
