2. South Africa

It is estimated that South Africa has a total 400,000 Chinese making them the 2nd country in Africa with the largest Chinese population

1. Ghana

Ghana is regarded as the home of Chinese in Africa due to the large number of chinese citizens in the country. They begun to settle in Ghana in the 1940's as contractors and labourers at various projects the government undertook with the Chinese government.

Since then, there have been a rapid increase of Chinese in the country. It is estimated that about 700,000 Chinese are currently living in Ghana. This actually means about 2% of Ghana's population are Chinese making Ghana number 1 on the list.
