Can this footballer also pass as Mexican or any other Latino nationality? Guess background

I thought he was Mexican at first sight. I reversed the image on Google and he turned out to be Afghan! I'm truly surprised. I never thought an Afghan would pass as Latino. It boggles my mind.

He can pass as a Filipino on his 1st two pictures IM. We are diverse in appearance, so I understand the confusion.
