I don't get it even if we have a group of 1,000 how would that affect the stock prices?

This is going to be very long to explain, I should start making Youtube Videos. 

to make things short 1,000 people can create a buzz with the trading community. the first 1,000 people will make money while the next 100,000 investors will lose money like a pyramid scheme.

Shares ofGameStop(NYSE:GME)extended their torrid recent gains on Wednesday as a horde of traders rushed to buy the video game company's stock in attempt to crush short-sellers and drive its price to astronomical levels.

As of 1:25 p.m. EST, GameStop's stock price was up a shocking 125%.

Yet the stock's incredible rally could be nearing its end.

1. 1,000 hypemen buy a Gamestop stock for 10$ each per stock ( 2,000 shares)
2. they create a hype online
3. 100,000 more join because of the hype = 10$ jumps to 50$ per share
4. surge makes people crazy then another 200,000 joins = 50$ per stock becomes 150$
5. more people come = $150 becomes $450 

now the 1st 1,000 hypemen earned $900,000 USD.. 

now the majority of the stockholders are selling their stock! the stocks went from $450 to $90 stockholders. 

so the late comers lost their money.
