2024 if Trump gets elected. we are going to a full-blown anti-Chinese cold war in the United States.

I'm no chinese scholar. I don't think we need a cold war with China but we really should crack down on intellectual property theft. What the chinese are good at is copying and they can do it for 1/10 of the price because there's no govt regulations. What we should also do is pare down regulations on our own corporations to level the playing field. I believe in consumer protection but in some cases we go overboard.

@athena we are already in a cold war. US & China can go to war as early as 2025. stopping Russia in Ukraine isn't just to protect nato but to destroy the BRIC trade network. If Russia collapsed, then China's belt & Road initiative is pretty much dead.

@athena Wolf warrior diplomacy is the only language the Chinese will understand. Chinese are more aggressive than white people when it comes to getting things they want like natural resources. The intellectual property theft will never stop unless Whites push back.

Chinese Nationals will be banned from buying property starting with Texas

Chinese citizens in Texas are incensed over a proposal to ban them from buying property in the state

“I have never seen the Chinese community this active and this motivated in my entire adult life. The community is inflamed right now. They are enraged.”
Protesters in Houston, Texas organize on Feb. 11, 2023 against proposed state Senate Bill 147, which would restrict citizens of China and three other countries from buying property in the state.

Protesters in Houston last week rally against a proposed state Senate bill that would restrict citizens of China and three other countries from buying property in Texas. Asian Americans Leadership Council

Activist Ling Luo says her Chinese community in Texas has gone from fearful to infuriated — and they’re demanding that their voices be heard.

By the hundreds, they’ve been taking to the streets all over the state, pleading with elected officials to kill a piece of legislation they fear could threaten their futures.

A bill introduced in the Texas Senate in late December has been gaining steam over the past month, and it came as a bombshell to Asian Americans and others across the state. The legislation, SB 147, would make it illegal for Chinese citizens to buy any property in Texas, including homes.

@j-r-c the law is mainly because of Chinese buying up properties. Canadian just don't have the courage to call a spade a spade.

Joe Biden signs a law prohibiting US nationals from working with the Chinese in the CHIP industry. The penalty is removing US citizenship for anyone working with the Chinese. That means you can't transfer sell equipment or key component for the machines needed to make the low-end Chips.
