why would it be weird? chinese are world citizens we watch every important country. Biden and Yang would be more rational and less hostile, why would it be bad? But I don't think of Yang as VP maybe a conservative woman VP. The dems cannot afford to lose to orange-demigod this time.
Not completely true. Chinese are often suspcious of foreign born Chinese who don't think like "real Chinese". For example Gary Locke found it was very hard to work in China, he quit after just 2 years.
Most Chinese don't know much about Andrew Yang, they certainly don't go crazy over him like Hindu nationalists might elevate another Hindu. I like him myself because I agree about UBI, and I think he's a rare effective Asian-American voice in the US.
This is just your presupposition. Most mainland Chinese are anti-emigration to the west. From 1882 to 1943 there was Chinese exclusion act in the US (and for no other nationality), it didn't affect US having a good image in China.
