the effects of it, is that we will start to lose American companies overseas. there is a long term effect that will effect the future of the next generation. it's like union destroying the the America auto-mobile companies.

The union is not the only reason, it was trade deals that killed American auto-workers.

Just think of socialism as a temporary investment, once the lower-class moved to middle-class then the government can tax more. Ever heard of the saying, You need to spend money to make money.
