Fauci admits ‘modest’ NIH funding of Wuhan lab but denies ‘gain of function’

The National Institutes of Health earmarked $600,000 for the Wuhan Institute of Virology over a five-year period to study whether bat coronaviruses could be transmitted to humans, White House chief medical adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci told lawmakers Tuesday.

Chinese don't think like that, they have a traditional culture of taking care of their elders. it's not like in the states where old people are thrown into retirement homes.

the record during last years outbreak was saving a 100 year old covid patient who had to go on ventilator. she asked to not be treated but the medical team wouldn't give up. (they had 40,000 medics in a province with 80,000 total infections)

that's very surprising, I always thought that the Chinese have a collective mindset to put forward the needs of the many over the needs of the few.
