@james , now that I think about Manny Pacquiao is more than just a boxer or even a popular boxer, but actually a general celebrity since he's involved in politics, business, movies, commercials, and etc.  He is an owner of big popular business such as a Philippine professional basketball team.  Plays a variety of sports such as basketball, billiards, and poker.  He's played billiards with other celebrities such as Efren Reyes.  He's sang and produced music.  He owns his own boxing promotion company.  He makes guess appearances in popular talk shows around the world.

Asians have done pretty well in a variety of beauty pageants including Miss Universe, and Filipinas especially have done very well having won 4 times:  Gloria Diaz (1969), Margie Moran (1973), Pia Wurtzbach (2015), and Catriona Gray (2018).  Akiko Kojima and Riyo Mori of Japan won it in 1959 and 2007 respectively.  Apasra Hongsakula and Bui Simon (born Porntip Hakhirunkanok)  of Thailand won it in 1965 and 1988 respectively.  Rina Messinger of Israel won it in 1976.  Sushmita Sen and Lara Dutta of India won it in 1994 and 2000 respectively.

Asians are well represented in televised talent contests such as America's Got Talent, American Idol, The Voice, Dancing with the Stars, World of Dance, So Do You Think You Can Dance, America's Best Dance Crew, and etc.  Jabbawockeez is perhaps the most well known dance crew out there, and definitely the most commercially successful one having a Las Vegas show of their own for several years, performing in several other shows, winning several dance contests including America's Best Dance Crew, and is featured in a few music videos.  Jabbawockeez is predominantly Filipino with some other Asians and other non-Asians at times.  The dance crew called The Lab won the second season World of Dance and many Asians in particular Filipinos are well represented there.  In the third season of World of Dance, an Indian dance crew called Kings United won it.  The magician, Shin Lim of Singaporean ancestry, won the 13th season (2018) of America's Got Talent and America's Got Talent:  The Champions (2019), and has  Las Vegas show.  Korean-American Kodi Taehyun Lee won the 14th season (2019) of America's Got Talent.  Kenichi Ebina of Japanese ancestry won the 8th. season (2013) of America's Got Talent.  Tessanne Chin of Chinese and Jamaican ancestry won the 5th season The Voice.  In Dancing with the Stars, Apolo Anton Ohno of Japanese and European ancestry won the 4th season, Kristi Yamaguchi of Japanese ancestry won the 6th season, Nicole Scherzinger of Hawaiian, Filipino, Ukrainian, and Polish ancestry won the 10th season.

Jabbawockeez had at least 2 Vietnamese, 1 Korean member, 2 Mexican American, and 1 African American, and possibly Chinese (or at the very least Chinese ancestry) members in their dance crew.

@rr , We should appreciate the arts of our neighbors.  There is some cross-over.  For example, Mothra's origin likely originates somewhere in the South Pacific.  The twin miniature fairy ladies that accompany Mothra sing in Malay.  Godzilla and Monster Island (where many other large monsters live) are in some tropical island most likely in the Pacific.

Also, there is a type of Muay Thai and Silat wuxia with Tony Jaa and Iko Uwais respectively.

Some of the animation studios are in the Philippines.

What does Godzilla have to do with mainstream culture of a certain people?

Austronesians have our culture copied by other groups but dues are never given to us because we don't make a fuss about it.

True, and partly because many Austronesians are unaware of their culture.  One example of this would probably be the food item sago pearls.  Sago pearls were the original tapioca pearls, but tapioca pearls became more popular.  But without sago and the process of making it into sago pearls, there probably would not have been tapioca pearls.  I think in the long run the credits due will be given.

Most Austronesians are aware that knife fighting and surfing originated from Austronesians and Polynesians.

It's just, our culture are mainstream to the rest of humanity just like basketball.
