Nicole Scherzinger is half Filipina and half Hawaiian - Ukrainian.  Her Polynesian features and complexion are apparent.  The pop-dance singer has reunited with her former band Pussycat Dolls this year.

Philippines is one of 3 countries in the world that considers basketball as their number 1 sport; the other countries are Latvia and Estonia.  

 

The number one sport in the world is soccer.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Filipinos are known for playing basketball however as of today there hasn't been a pure Filipino in the NBA; maybe one day there could be one or a few of them playing.
