@naval wrong. As I said, most times people don’t get incarcerated for one non violent offense. What the activists of these justice reform don’t tell you are prior offenses. They also redefine violenc, ie armed robbery that didn’t end up with severe injury don’t count so all you hear is this person went to prison for a ‘non violent’ offenses. Instead of reading just the stats. I encourage you every time someone scream injustice about such and such person, go and actually research that persons background. Much harder to do than just read numbers that are very biased and based on falsehood. Of course there is unjust application of the law too. I’m not denying it, ie if you’re rich you can get better legal help than if you’re poor and there are incompetent judges and juries. But that alone does not account for high black incaration.
@athena Most of the offenses are Marijuana related. Did you know why they stopped the alcohol prohibition? Because it didn't work and too many white people were going to jail
