Why are Asians so obsess with Amerindians? is it because we are cool?

Only a few can pass as a Filipino most of them have their own unique look. I know, I see them all time. My bestie even dated a native before & he ended up in prison.

Native American Indians use to be in the mainstream media for some time - the western movies back in the 40's to 70's especially.  Today, there are only some Native American Indians but they do not have prominent roles like they use to.  Filipinos are rarely seen in the media also but our population is not as large compared to Latinos or Africans.  In general though Asians  actually are not seen in the media compared to other groups.
