Why are Asians so obsess with Amerindians? is it because we are cool?

@prau123  Well I believe FilAms hate being associated with the Philippines and other SE Asians so they go around telling others that they are in fact Polynesians and Pacific Islanders.  We certainly are related to Polynesians but all Filipinos here in the Philippines see ourselves as SE Asian, and not PI.  So that's the difference.
