Ondel-ondel street performance in Central Jakarta, Indonesia. Ondel-ondel street performance usually travelling the streets of Jakarta kampungs (urban villages), and asking money contribution from audiences and passer by. The ondel-ondel is a large bamboo-wooden puppet-mask of Betawi couple; male and female ondel-ondel dancing accompanied with Gambang Kromong, Betawi traditional music consist of drums, gongs, and rebab (lute).

and that car free day is good too, I just wish Jakarta will ban ALL bajajs, ojeks, angkot and those cheap ass not trust worthy taxi companies -elaugh. Just stick with 1 bus company and 1 taxi company (blue bird!) Public transportation should expand so more people will take the PT instead of getting stuck in traffic. It's time to get subways too! And re-introduce the becaks! make new roads for becaks & cycles only.
