I am trying to get girls attention and get to know them. Dating can wait, but knowing if they are attracted to me or not.

Women want men who are able to take care of their needs & have the capability to provide future.
Women are more complicatred than a man simple reasoning.

You gotta learn to make women feel comfortable around you. No matter how attractive you are or how attracted they are to you, they won't be going home with you if they don't feel comfortable with you. Anyway, long story short, make women feel comfortable and safe so they can be themselves and "open up" to you.
