Once they develop an effective vaccine, will there be enough for everyone? The experts project that the vaccine will be available as early as next year. The number of infected patients by next year would be much higher than today. They have to mass produce this vaccine to people that haven't been tested also because there are presumably countless people who are infected with the virus. Several of them don't show any symptoms and they will eventually spread them. It would be catastrophic also if the virus becomes immune to the vaccine.
There is no cure for SARS to this day and it's almost 20 years, not all diseases are curable.
If the corona virus isn't cured, expect our life quality to go lower and expect globalization to stop.
I expect treatment for corona virus but not a cure.
If they have to depend on treatments to keep themselves alive, then the next few years is going to look rather bleak and will almost put a complete halt on globalization. They eventually have to allow airplanes and ships to transport a minimal number of passengers even though the risk is still there. I do hope for a cure because a treatment may sound a bit unsatisfying for the general public to go through.
