This large forgotten sunken structure on Manila Bay may have likely been the main spice trade port of the Philippines before the arrival of the Europeans in 1521 as shown in the videos below. The map above shows the spice trade routes and where ships dock for trade. The spice trade route to Manila Bay is considered a secondary route. The seafaring traders picked up abaca fibers, mangos, coconuts, rice, medicinal plants, beeswax, etc...
