There are only few megaliths in the world that have precision cuts and polish finish such as found inside the Barabar Caves in India. The few people that have visited the interior structure of these caves have described the surface on the walls as smooth as glass and those who stood beside them were able to see a mirror reflection of oneself.  The site was constructed around 2,200 years ago and to this day we do not have any available information on how they built and cut these caves to the level of precision that could only be duplicated with the usage of modern technology. Definitely one of the finest examples of megalithic construction in ancient times.

Tu'i Tonga Empire

The Tuʻi Tonga Empire, or Tongan Empire, are descriptions sometimes given to Tongan expansionism and projected hegemony in Oceania which began around 950 CE, reaching its peak during the period 1200–1500.

It was centred in Tonga on the island of Tongatapu, with its capital at Muʻa. Modern researchers and cultural experts attest to widespread Tongan influence, evidence of transoceanic trade and exchange of material and non-material cultural artefacts.

Polynesians and Micronesians are descendants of Austronesians. These intrepid seafarers traveled far and away for several days on sail boats.  Pacific Islanders were known for their ability to voyage across the Pacific Ocean without relying on landmarks as guide but they were also known for their megalithic construction sites.  Easter Island ( Rapa Nui ) contained nearly 1,000 Moai statues while Nan Madol in Pohnpei Island, Micronesia contained 250 million tons of basalt rocks arranged to form communities and walls both on land and underneath the sea.  Palau, Tonga, Marquesas and several more Pacific Islands also have many megalithic construction sites.
