Christianity, particularly Catholicism, has a significant presence and history in Malacca, Malaysia. The Portuguese, starting in 1511, introduced the faith, and it continues to be practiced and celebrated, particularly by the Portuguese Christian community who maintain unique traditions. The city also holds historical significance for the Catholic Church, having served as a key stopover for missionaries spreading the faith across South and Far East Asia.

Here's a more detailed look:

Early Christian Presence:
  • The earliest traces of Christianity in the Malay Archipelago go back to the 7th century with Nestorian traders from Persia.
  • Before the Portuguese conquest of Malacca in 1511, there were already some Arab Christian, Persian, and Nestorian traders present in the region.

The Portuguese Era (1511-1641):
  • The Portuguese introduced Catholicism to Malacca, establishing a bishopric in 1557.

  • Franciscan and Dominican friars arrived as military chaplains.

  • Malacca became a hub for missionaries spreading the faith eastward.

  • St. Paul's Church: The church was a central part of the Portuguese presence, with Saint Francis Xavier temporarily buried there.

In 1292, Marco Polo found a lost community of Christians on his voyage back to Venice. The narrator does not pinpoint the exact location of these communities. Are they located in the coastal areas of the Far East or Southeast Asia?

I Found an Impossible Geometric Labyrinth on Google Earth

Discovering strange geometric shapes on a cliff on Google Earth led me to one of my greatest discoveries: A massive, nearly endless underground maze, surrounded by gigantic blocks of stone. I barely scratched the surface here. The Labyrinth goes far deeper than I realized, so I will have to return. What do you think this means? Are we living in a Minecraft, Roblox, or Lego world? Is it an Ancient Quarry? Or did the geology.. just.. do that?

Maybe somewhere in Utah state since Utah Juniper was mentioned at 4:42 in the video.

Rock formation above is similar to last year's find as shown below in the video.  The recent video above has labyrinth features where a person could pass through narrow gorges similar to slot canyons while the last year's video below has passages that varies from wide to too narrow for a person to walk through.
