liftoff!

high risk objectives coming up:

lunar automatic rendevous (space first)

lunar return orbit

ballistic re-entry (two times with a skip out of the atmosphere then back inside) (space first)

precise landing and recovery in inner mongolia (space first, Apollo missions landed in a wide area in the sea recovered by a large naval fleet)

the docking worked. samples were moved to the orbiter. ascender will be left behind, I guess it will give the orbiter a push back to Earth, and decay into the moon.

USA if you ever steal our grappling arm design for extraterrestrial docking...

I must have said that fueled your nationalism. We landed on the moon in 1969 and we will send a man to mars by 2025. You guys can keep the arm.

you should read space articles more than one time. If you can get a sample return to mars by 2025 it will be already huge news.

your space wonder weapons keep getting canceled. start another thread please if you're interested in US space program. Right now it's Artemis and hasn't had one single launch yet. Waste of money before a moon base is ready IMO (and nothing to do with Mars)

1969! that's 50 years in advance. Keep that in mind.

They're preparing to welcome the return of Chang'e 5 capsule, approaching the earth now at 11,000 meters/second.
