I think I am am ambivert too. My work require me to talk and deal with people so when I am home I just want quiet time.

I am social to people I am comfortable with in real life, but when I am online, I can be social to anyone. So it depends on my comfortable zone. Also like you, when I don't feel good, I stay offline as well, and catch up on my sleep mostly.
