@sonsofodin

...during the 2008 U.S. Presidential Election
, Filipino Americans voted majority Democratic, with 50% to 58% of the neighborhood vote casting for President Barack Obama
and 42% to 46% balloting for Senator John McCain

. The 2008 election marked the first time that a majority of Filipino Americans voted for a Democrat presidential candidate." Wikipedia

So today, Filipino-Americans have voted for a Democratic President and the solely Congress member is additionally a Democrat.

Many live in pro-Democratic states such as New York, California, and Illinois, and are influenced by the pro-Democratic culture and atmosphere.  Issues such as immigration and equality are important to Asians, and the Democratic supports that better than the Republicans.

pro-immigration means giving citizenship to 11-12 million illegal aliens & bringing everyone extended family to U.S soil right?

I'm quite surprised to see Filipinos vote democrat, I always thought they would lean towards republicans.

I was surprised as well that Vietnamese are the highest supporters of Trump.

For the most part yes, I do believe in giving citizenship to 11-12 million illegal aliens & extended families. Overall immigrants have shown to be a positive in American society. There's also the economic issue of how do we continue the growth of domestic spending if our population isn't growing. It looks like immigration has played an important role in population growth since the U.S. birthrate hasn't been so high. Lastly, although many immigrants and their children identify with their culture from their old country, they also identify as being American. American culture is also changing in a variety of ways including the incorporation of immigrant cultures.
I see a lot of Filipinos leaning Republican since so many are in the U.S. military or had parents or grandparents in the military, and the military and the people in it tend to be Republican. Some Filipinos like the less tax mantra of Republicans especially when Filipinos become economically successful and are at a higher income tax bracket. But Filipinos need to understand that many of the industries that they work in such as the military, home health care, board & care, and the health industry in general are a form of government program or supported by the government to ensure the health and wellness of all Americans, and the government needs funds usually gathered in the form of taxes. Medicare, Medicaid, and etc. are all government agencies. Imagine the healthcare system without it. Filipinos tend to look at their own end which is their work and the salary they make from it, but they don't see the bigger picture and how things connect, and specifically how the government plays a big role in supporting the health industry. Why do so many Filipinos migrate to places like the U.S., Canada, England, and etc. to work as nurses, because they have strong health care system which pays nurses well at least compared to the Philippines. I'm not expert on the health care system, but the health care system of the Philippines is not as strong or as advanced as the U.S., and can't afford to pay nurses as high, and in my opinion that's partly because the government hasn't supported it as much. I should end this by saying that the Philippine health care system and allowing people to benefit from it be it as patients or nurses (or any other employee) is getting better.

@prau123

It's up to the real Americans to decide who gets to come here or Not.

When us White people become a minority in our own countries, do you expect the blacks & Latinos to be competitive against the Chinese?

Giving illegal 11 million aliens citizenship who hates us is suicidal. look at the racial riots going on with George Floyd and tell me in a realistic way how is it beneficial.

I like the Filipinos, I'm sure you guys don't want to be a minority in the Philippines. I come to the Philippines as a guest & I will never wish the Philippines to be flooded with 11 million illegal Chinese.
