Of the 7,120 hate crime incidents reported in 2018, more than 1,300 — or nearly 19 percent — stemmed from anti-LGBTQ bias, according to the FBI’s latest Hate Crime Statistics report.

According to the FBI data, of the nearly 1,200 incidents targeting people due to their sexual orientation, the majority targeted gay men (roughly 60 percent), while approximately 12 percent targeted lesbians, 1.5 percent targeted bisexuals, 1.4 percent targeted heterosexuals and the remaining incidents targeted a mixed group of LGBTQ people. Transgender and gender-nonconforming people were the targets in 168 reported incidents, approximately 2.4 percent of all reported hate crime incidents last year.

When compared to 2017, the number of reported incidents targeting the LGBTQ community increased from 1,217 to 1,347, jumping from roughly 17 percent to 19 percent of each year's total number of reported hate crime incidents.

In particular, reports of anti-trans violence is growing: Between 2017 and 2018, the number of these reported incidents increased 34 percent.

The lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer community is estimated by Gallup to comprise 4.5 percent of the U.S. population, yet according to the FBI’s newly released report, they comprise 18.5 percent of hate crime victims.

While the 7,120 overall reported hate crime incidents recorded in 2018 are slightly fewer than in 2017, both years represent historically high levels of reported hate crimes, with only 2008 recording more in the past decade: 7,783. In 2014, hate crimes hit a decade-low rate of 5,479 incidents.

Another noteworthy trend is that reported hate crimes increasingly targeted people (like assault) instead of property (like vandalism), even as the nation enjoys continued decreases in both violent and property crimes.

In 2018, nearly 66 percent of hate crime offenses were directed toward people, while 31 percent were directed toward property. In 2017, 60 percent of hate crimes were directed toward people, while 37 percent were directed toward property.

According to FBI data released in September, this goes against overall nationwide crime trends. In 2018, the national violent crime rate fell 4 percent compared to 2017, while the property crime rate declined 7 percent.

According to this latest report, Jewish and black communities continue to shoulder a disproportionate percentage of federally reported hate crimes: Jewish people comprise an estimated 2 percent of the U.S. population but make up 10 percent of hate crime victims, and the black community is an estimated 13.4 percent of the U.S. population but makes up 26 percent of hate crime victims.

The FBI's Hate Crime Statistics report tells just part of the story. Of the 16,039 law enforcement agencies across the country that voluntarily participated in the Hate Crime Statistics Program, only 2,026 reported any hate crime incidents at all, according to the FBI. The state of Alabama, for example, did not report a single hate crime in all of 2018.

Transgender woman claims to have slept with THOUSANDS of men since her gender reassignment surgery - including nine in a single NIGHT

Crystal Warren, 48, from Brighton, claims to have slept with around 2,000 men since her gender reassignment surgery in 2003 and hopes to sleep with a thousand more before her 50th birthday

The part time model admits that most of her conquests don't know about her past.
She says: 'I have s*x with a different man most nights of the week. But I always have safe s*x and I can't fall pregnant so what's the harm?

In the 14 years since my surgery I've had s*x with at least 2000 men and I don't plan on slowing down. I fact I want to sleep with more men. I love it, I can't get enough.

'Usually the s*x is casual so I don't get the opportunity to explain about my past and why should I?
'I doubt many women disclose their health and surgical history before going to bed with a man they fancy and who fancies them. I'm a woman now and that's what matters.

'When I was in a male body, I wouldn't have been judged with lots of s*x, so why should now I have a female body.'
Crystal admits she once had s*x with nine men in the same night.
She says: 'I'm not ashamed. I'm proud. After years of hating my body, I truly love showing it off and enjoying it and men seem to enjoy it too.
'I've been accused of being a prostitute or running a brothel but nothing could be further from the truth. I just love s*x.
'I spent years avoiding it because I was so uncomfortable with my body, but not anymore.'

She says: 'I had s*x with men, but I knew I was not gay, I knew I needed the body I should have had at birth and decided to transition.'

In August 2001 she started taking hormones in preparation for gender surgery.
She said: 'My skin got softer and I grew C cup breasts. I finally felt like me. Men were all over me when I went out and they never guessed my secret.'

If things progressed she was forced to tell them given that she'd not yet had surgery.
She said: 'Some had different reactions, some didn't mind, others recoiled in shock.'

Crystal has previously been accused of being a prostitute but she says this couldn't be further from the truth and she just 'loves s*x'

In December 2003 she had full reassignment surgery at Charing Cross Hospital.
She said: 'I had to use a dialator to open up my new v****a, it hurt, but it looked amazing. I absolutely loved it and couldn't stop looking at it.

'Finally I felt like a woman inside and out and even more exciting was the fact I was a virgin again.'
She went out one night with friends who knew about her operation and she says she received plenty of male attention.

She said: 'I felt like a man magnet rather than a man. It was exhilarating.'

Months later she got a job modeling for a chain of shops and as far as her new colleagues knew she had always had a female body. One night she was invited to a swingers club and intrigued, went along.

She ended up having s*x with nine men one after the other. 'I didn't tell any of them that I used to have a male body, I was a woman so why should I ?

'I loved every minute of it and so did they. s*x as a woman felt so different, slow and sensual, it was much more erotic than s*x as a man. I couldn't wait for more.'

She says she was hooked on s*x as a female and would go out clubbing most nights to meet a new partner. Within a few months of her operation she had already slept with hundreds of men.
