Chinese mentality (even in the criminal underworld) is very different from ours, they will usually avoid problems instead of facing them head-on.
They will only fight battles where they can see themselves winning or have something to gain.
I will make a thread about the art of war. hopefully, @dyno will understand their mentality.
Triads only act tough around their own people but no show for the throwdown.
