Difference between modern and early modern Ao-dai

Anyway, I may come across as anti-modern stuff but I'm not, I'm just pointing out a few differences. I love everything as long as they look good in my eyes. 

Yeah, the quality of fabrics back then was better.

There are a few good ao dai designs today imo, but unfortunately most of the rest are ugly.
