mRNA is synthetic from the gene sequence, deactivated is made from real virus but crippled. mRNA is new tech and only used before on cancer patients, it seems to be stronger vaccine but with more risk of side effects.

the RNA sequence of the virus itself. mRNA can create vaccine just from the codes on a computer.
