Media Entertainment Asian Movie/Series Recommendations

Fist of Fury (1972) starring Bruce Lee is just a well done movie.  I'm understating this, because words can't praise it enough, but many consider this movie to be Bruce's best.  The story and plot is great, and so are the fight scenes, "costumes", hair color and design.  This is true martial art movie, where the martial arts takes center stage.  It's a story of one martial art school against another at the backdrop of WWII.  Moreover, Bruce Lee goes one vs. several dozen fighters at once, fights their best student and their master.  

Macross:  Do You Remember Love (Long name:  The Super Dimension Fortress Macross:  Do You Remember Love) (1984) has to be considered one of the best if not the best anime movie of all time.  The movie is associated with the American and Japanese t.v. series called Robotech especially the first saga (The Macross Saga) of which there were three.  The animation is great, but so is the story, the music, and the characters.  I highly suggest watching the Robotech series also.  

Who can forget this final battle scene with Lynn Mimay's singing to it, unless you've never watched it before?:

Criminal (1994) is a highly regarded movie in Bollywood.  I haven't seen the whole movie myself, but the musical scene with the song "Tu Mile Dil Khile" is highly regarded in Bollywood history.  Admittedly parts of the song are copied from the German music band Enigma's song "Age of Loneliness" which is a version of an earlier song of theirs called "Carly's Song", but ultimately the song originates from a Mongolian long song called  "Tosonguyn Oroygoor", sung by Dechinzundui Nadmid.  But I hope the copy infringement doesn't take away from the rest of the song or the video or the voice of the singers.
