fuentes: Contemporary Maritime Piracy: International Law, Strategy, and Diplomacy at Sea By James Kraska [1]

Fuentes: Anthony Reid, "Violence at Sea". in Robert J Antony, ed., Elusive Pirates, Pervasive Smugglers. Hong Kong University Press. p. 18 Jump up ^ (Chinese)History of Ming”

Look what it says, Spanish are better than Japanese martial arts. This garbage article does not mention that the possibilida there were Chinese pirates only that the Chinese were also called wako.

> https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Combates_de_Cagayán < "The event had the peculiarity of facing Spanish arquebusiers, pikemen and rodeleros against this Japanese contingent, mostly rōnin (samurai without a lord), and to a lesser extent, Japanese ashigaru (common soldiers). Pasura because there is no evidence that most were Ronin because: The evidence of the most Chinese parasites is the name and ships they used Spanish sources record the name of their leader as Tay Fusa, Tayfusu or Tayfuzu. This does not correspond to a Japanese name, but could refer to a medieval chieftain (大夫), called DAFU in Chinese or Taifu in Japanese. [5] The pirates had 18 Sampans that flat-bottomed Chinese wooden boat. The word "champagne" comes from the original Hokkien term for boats, 三 板 (sam pan), which literally means "three planks" in their Chinese dialects. [6] Click here to view the original image of 930x686px. Most were Chinese fishermen 1st Japanese pirates had always mix of lordless samurai (ronin), soldiers, merchants and smugglers sources: Contemporary Maritime Piracy: International Law, Strategy, and Diplomacy at Sea By James Kraska [1] 2nd According to Ming history, 30% of the 16th century wokou were Japanese, with the remaining 70% being of Chinese origin. Chinese peasants and people from fishing villages will unite to become Wako and later most of the wokou pirates are formed. Sources: Anthony Reid, "Violence at Sea". in Robert J Antony, ed., Elusive Pirates, Pervasive Smugglers. Hong Kong University Press. p. 18 Jump up ^ (Chinese) History of Ming ”大抵 真 倭 十 之 三 , 从 倭 者 十 之 七。” But the garbage of this editor I do not want to mention to give more pride and raise the morale of Spanish military history --------------------- Can you believe this shit? "European fencing had proven to be better than Japanese martial arts and Toledo steel swords were much more resistant and useful than katanas.5 Japanese armor was perfected in European style, adding metal breastplates." Only idiots can write something so stupid Toledo can take machine gun hits?

By 1580 Japan had guns and training supplied by the Portuguese and English. The Spanish got destroyed by the English Navy. They think a smaller Spanish naval force could so easily have beaten a real Japanese naval force of larger size who were trained and supplied by the English? I lol. at them for their conceit.
