Thanks for the stats.
A large percentage of the Filipinos reside in the cities such as Toronto, Montreal, Calgary or Vancouver.
Filipinos are in every major city of Canada.

Larger number of Filipinos migrated to Canada in 1930. In 1950, 10 Filipinos were recorded in Manitoba. These first generation Filipino-Canadians were mainly women who worked as nurses and teachers, and in the health sector. These first Filipinos came from the United States to renew their visas after they had expired, in hopes of returning to the US. Most of them did return to the US, but some stayed in Canada.
From 1946 to 1964, the total number of Filipinos in Canada was 770. During the 1960s, Canada recruited more professionals, mostly from the United States, with some coming directly from the Philippines. Most of these nurses, technicians, office workers and doctors arrived in Winnipeg, Manitoba. In the late 1960s, more Filipinos came to Winnipeg to work in the garment industry.
Winnipeg is home to the oldest Filipino community in Canada with Filipino immigration to Winnipeg beginning before 1950. Winnipeg was home to the largest Filipino community before the 1980s. About 1 out of 10 Filipinos in Canada call Winnipeg home. There is also Filipino community center called The Philippine Canadian Centre of Manitoba (PCCM) providing social and service to the Filipino community and also holds events such as Folklorama. There are also Filipino newspapers such as The Pilipino Express News Magazine, The Filipino Journal, and Ang Peryodiko. There is also a radio station, CKJS, which broadcasts Filipino related news, music, lifestyle and much more.

Both locals and tourist.
They are constructing Resorts World in Las Vegas. There are three other Resorts World in Southeast Asia - one of them in Manila, Philippines. Several Filipinos will gamble here whenever it opens up in Las Vegas. Maybe their buffets and restaurants will provide some Filipino cuisines and who knows if the dance crew Jabbawockzee and Journey may perform here instead.
Resorts World Manila, Philippines

Resorts World Manila is an integrated resort, located in Newport City, opposite the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3, in Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines. The resort is owned and operated by Travellers International Hotel Group, Inc. (TIHGI), a joint venture between Alliance Global Group and Genting Hong Kong. The project, occupying part of a former military camp, has four hotels, casino gambling areas, a shopping mall, cinemas, restaurants, clubs and a theater. A soft launch of the resort took place on 28 August 2009.[1] Resorts World Manila is the sister resort to Resorts World Genting, Malaysia and Resorts World Sentosa, Singapore. It was the first integrated resort in Metro Manila,
maybe just a few Filipino dishes but it mostly cater to the general public. It's no different than Filipinos in cruise ships
@lannie
The buffet at Resorts World las Vegas probably won't even have a Filipino section. However the casino buffet will always provide several familiar ethnic dishes and yet a lot of their customers will be Filipinos.
Some buffets even have theme nights like Mexican buffet on Wednesday night, Italian buffet on Saturday night or Seafood buffet on Friday night. Since Filipino food is not well known in America yet, I doubt we will see a Filipino buffet night any time soon.
The only time that I ever had a Filipino dish in a casino was chicken adobo however it was an American version which was boneless and oil and sodium content was considerably less than usual. The dish still retained it's familiar taste and it was delicious.
@lannie
Chicken Adobo attracted the Latino population also especially Mexicans since they are familiar with it even though some of our ingredients and spices are different to theirs.
I think generally our cuisine has similar taste with our Asian neighbor and Latin America
@lannie
I'm guessing that the buffet at the upcoming Resorts World Casino does have in mind serving Filipino food to the Filipino customers but also to a variety of people who gambles there which means that they will mainly select Filipino foods that are similar to American, Latin American, Asian, etc... such as chicken adobo, chicken inasal, bbq chicken/beef/pork sticks and plus more. They definitely have to serve a lot of rice to Filipinos.
The food pic is Mercado Buffet at the Resorts World in Manila, Philippines.
The upcoming buffet in Resorts World in Las Vegas may look like this or similar.
It's a bonus treat to Filipinos if they included a Filipino dine-in restaurant or fast food chain located at the food court since Filipinos prefer to eat as a family especially with children.
@marneil
National City is where I usually passed by to eat some Filipino food.
