What ever you do, avoid north west Mindanao of the southern Philippines. There are radical Islamic terrorist hiding in the bushes.

Most Filipinos are Catholics, I'm not too worried about it.

Visit the SM mall, Power Plant mall, greenbelt mall & Ayala center Cebu.

It's one the best shopping center in the country. The malls in the Philippines are a lot bigger than the malls in the U.S.A

Don't worry I'm a regular shopper 😉 I can easily spot a fake channel from the real one.

Once you buy a product, then you could no longer return the item for a refund in most stores. Make sure you have them test the product also before you buy them such as cellphones, flashlights or fans.

In Manila, Greenbelt mall and their open-air shopping areas and restaurant are the main attraction to a lot of international tourist.  To go along with it, there are series of malls connected to one another also.  These are among the new developments that are visited quite frequently by locals and tourist.

The food courts are also big in the malls and they have a large variety of fast-food and cuisines.

Some malls have concert venues, nightclubs, fitness clubs, ice rinks, bingo halls and plus more.  There are always new malls being constructed in every region of the Philippines.

The drawback is that people cut in lines when they shop at retail stores, restaurants, grocery stores, basically anywhere including malls.  There are also no refunds after you purchase an item.

Especially in Manila, you'll see modern mixed in with the old. You'll see brand new big buses, taxis, and personal vehicles traveling alongside old jeepneys and tricycles. This is the one-of-a-kind experience in Philippines for tourist.  The jeepneys and tricycles are always packed with people and I don't recommend tourist riding on these public transportations on their first day of arrival in Manila. However they should at least try riding them once before they head back to their country.  It's fun and inexpensive to ride on them compared to taxis and buses.  Jeepneys and tricycles are noticeable because of their exotic designs, decorations and lighting on the interior and exterior of the vehicle.  Some drivers prefer to play their music loud. The jeepney follows a certain route like a bus while the tricycle has a limited range like some taxi.

Here's one right across Greenbelt Mall in Manila.

"Be Low is a new nightclub that opened on July 20, 2016 at the basement of the New World Makati Hotel just across from Greenbelt Mall."

Here's another one.

Royal club is near Century City Mall and SM Jazz Mall.
